Sebelas Maret University accepts prospective students through 3 selection channels, namely National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), National Selection Based on Test (SNBT), and independent selection. https://spmb.uns.ac.id/jalur-masuk/jenjang?level=s1.

The selection system is under the coordination of the UNS New Student Admission Selection Secretariat (SPMB). All information regarding admission requirements can be accessed at: https://spmb.uns.ac.id/

1) National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) is an admission selection that is carried out based on the results of tracking academic achievement through report cards and students’ academic and non-academic portfolios. To participate in SNBP, there are a number of requirements that must be completed and followed. 2) National Test-Based Selection (SNBT) is one of the university entrance pathways conducted by UTBK (Computer-Based Written Test) written test. In the test, SNBT will measure cognitive potential, mathematical reasoning, literacy in Indonesian, and literacy in English. 3) Independent Selection UNS (SM-UNS) .This selection is a new student admission pathway implemented by UNS outside the SNBP and SNBT pathways which include:

  • Self Selection Exam Path (LAUGH)
  • Independent Selection Partnership Path (SMJK)
  • Independent Selection of Achievement Path (SMJP)
  • Self Selection for Disability Path (SMJD)

4) International Student Admission. Prospective international students who are interested in studying at UNS must register online at https://spmb.uns.ac.id/berita/show?id=133 by fulfilling the specified requirements. Foreign applicants must be a maximum of 23 years old. To support international students, UNS also offers various types of UNS Scholarships that cover tuition fees, dormitories, Indonesian language courses, and living expenses. The management of foreign student admission and services is handled by the Technical Implementation Unit for International Cooperation and Services at the university level, and the International Office Team in each faculty. For undergraduate degrees, prospective students must show a letter of English proficiency in the TOEFL test with a minimum score of 450 or equivalent and attend all video calls held by the committee.
