This service activity includes workshops for members of the Republic of Indonesia Teachers Association (PGRI) Wonogiri Regency, with the aim of providing knowledge about the STEAM approach and designing STEAM-based learning methods. Workshops involve 150 participants and expert speakers from Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. Participants will learn and make learning plans using the STEAM approach, and present the results to resource persons and other participants. Evaluation is carried out through questionnaires before and after the event to measure participants' understanding and abilities in STEAM material.

Implemented on 27 July 2024 located at the PGRI Building, Wonogiri Regency, The activity began with an opening series delivered by the Emcee, starting with singing Indonesia Raya, which was then continued with remarks from the Chair of PGRI Wonogiri. This speech emphasized the importance of implementing STEAM in education to improve teacher professionalism.

Then, The first material was presented by Dr. Dra. Yuli Bangun Nursanti, M.Pd with topic “Training on Preparing STEAM-Based AKM Questions for Elementary School Teachers in Selogiri District.” This material is delivered interactively, involves group discussions and case studies. Dr. Yuli emphasized the importance of understanding the local context in preparing AKM questions so that they are more relevant to students.

Furthermore, Dr. Imam Sujadi, M.Si. deliver material about “Preparation of STEAM-Based Numeracy AKM.” This presentation is also interactive, with participants being invited to do exercises in preparing numeracy questions that integrate elements of local culture. Dr. Imam provides many concrete examples and practical techniques that can be directly applied by teachers.

Gibran Khalil Gibran then explained the training on using Canva, a graphic design tool that can be used to create interactive and interesting teaching materials. This session is very dynamic, with many participants enthusiastic about trying out various Canva features directly on the spot. The event closed with a documentation session, where the participants and resource persons took photos together, marking the end of a workshop full of knowledge and inspiration.
